Cherry Bombe Jubilee with Martha Stewart

Cherry Bombe Jubilee Martha Stewart Talk
The green shoot of excitement is budding for Spring – I have so many ideas to share. A great way that I started off the Spring was the Third Annual Cherry Bombe Jubilee Conference in New York City. Cherry Bombe is a great publication that celebrates the hard work, know-how and glory of women in food. I basked in endless inspiration from food industry luminaries such as Padma Lakshmi, Melissa Clark of the New York Times, Amanda Hesser of the democratic and always informative site food52 and the only and only Martha Stewart! Martha was the headlining speaker and she is the epitome of hard work and inspiration. Martha spoke about where she finds inspiration (looking at the windows of NYC), what keeps her going (endless curiosity) and that she does not use spell check on her smartphone. Really. She’s not a fan of auto correct and will never text you while she is in the car as she is being driven around NYC. We’re not that close yet, but I will keep that in mind if she doesn’t respond to my text as quickly as I’d like her to one day, ha ha. Dreaming big this year, my Relish friends!
