In my inbox one day there was an email from my culinary school, International Culinary Center, saying that Rachael Ray was looking for a co-host for the day. I thought, “that sounds like fun!” And I’m living in a growth mindset these days, I’ve always wanted to try TV so I decided to go for it. I can’t tell you how much fun this was after I got over my nerves. Luckily I had a good friend filming it for me so she kept me happy and focused (Thanks Di!). The great thing about Rachael Ray is that she democratizes everything that she touches and therefore makes lofty subjects accessible to her audience. Food can be a little scary to people sometimes and that’s what I like doing, breaking it down to let people know that it’s not that scary. Everyone can cook, even just a little bit!
Please enjoy this fun and funny video I submitted to Dream Jobbing for Rachael Ray. The powers that be are judging now, and I bet you can still *like* it!
